HEAR THE SONG BEFORE THE MUSIC ENDS! (2)

Welcome to another devotional hour! Share with me the poem below:

Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask, “How are you?” Do you hear the reply? When the day is done, do you lie in your bed with the next hundred chores running through your head? You’d better slow down; don’t dance so fast, Time is short, The music won’t last.

Ever told your child ‘We will do tomorrow’ And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch; let a good friendship die, because you didn’t call just to say Hi’? You’d better show down; Don’t dance so fast, Time is short, the music won’t last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere, You miss half the fun of getting there. When you worry and hurry through your day, it is like an unopened gift- Thrown away.

Always remember that “we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.( 1Tim 6:7) Life is not a race. Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over!

If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? If you had one more thing to do, what would that be? And, why are you waiting? Do them today!
